Last Saturday (August 1), Col\u00e9gio 24 de Mar\u00e7o hosted the launch of the Jiu-Jitsu in Schools \u2013 G13 FAMBRAS<\/em> project, an initiative of the Federation of Muslim Associations of Brazil (FAMBRAS), the Sociedade Beneficente Mu\u00e7ulmana de Santo Amaro (SOBEM), Col\u00e9gio 24 de Mar\u00e7o, and G13 Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The project will offer free jiu-jitsu classes to children and teenagers experiencing social vulnerability, using sport as a tool for transformation while promoting values such as discipline, respect, citizenship, inclusion, and self-esteem.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The launch ceremony brought together representatives of the partner institutions, featured a technical jiu-jitsu demonstration, and concluded with a breakfast gathering.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

During the event, SOBEM President and Director of Col\u00e9gio 24 de Mar\u00e7o, Ibrahim Nimri, emphasized the importance of expanding access to sports for children who often would not otherwise have the means to attend a gym or academy.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
