New Opportunities for Integration
ASEAN brings together some of the most dynamic economies in Southeast Asia, a strategic region for global production, trade, and investment chains. The bloc comprises Brunei, Cambodia, the Philippines, Indonesia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Singapore, Thailand, Vietnam, and Timor-Leste.
For Brazil, deeper relations with these markets represent an opportunity to diversify trading partners, expand investment, and develop new areas of international cooperation.
In this context, Grupo FAMBRAS’s participation in the meeting is aligned with efforts to strengthen institutional dialogue and build bridges with countries and international organizations, particularly in regions with strong connections to the global Halal market.
Countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Brunei, and Singapore have significant participation in the international Halal ecosystem, expanding opportunities for the exchange of experience, institutional relations, and the development of new opportunities for Brazilian companies interested in these markets.
The presence of Nizar El Ghandour and Delduque Martins strengthened Grupo FAMBRAS’s relationship with diplomatic and institutional representatives and enabled the organization to follow discussions on new prospects for integration between Brazil and Southeast Asia.
The meeting also included the participation of Alex Kawano, Secretary-General of the ASEAN-Brazil Parliamentary Front, an initiative that serves as a bridge between the National Congress and the countries belonging to the Association of Southeast Asian Nations.
The celebration in Brasília highlighted the growing role of Southeast Asia in Brazil’s international agenda and the potential for building new partnerships based on dialogue, cooperation, and economic development.
